Marianne is an accredited mediator committed to helping people resolve sensitivities or conflict in their professional relationships and interests. A Business Studies (Honours) graduate, she is also a seasoned procurement executive (Diploma of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply - MCIPS) - as well as an experienced leader of change programs enabling more inclusive and sustainable supply chains and entrepreneurial empowerment. 

Marianne has more than 25 years' experience in procurement and supply chain management, including more than 11 years focused on driving more sustainable and inclusive ecosystems. As Global Supplier Inclusion & Diversity Lead (outside US) at strategy and technology corporation Accenture, Marianne created, strengthened and expanded - in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders - an inclusive supply chain program covering EMEA, Asia Pacific, Latin America & Canada.

Before serving in her global role, Marianne created, established and led for several years Accenture’s Sustainable Procurement capability in UK and Europe.

Marianne was recognised via The International Alliance of Women (TIAW) World of Difference Award in 2012 for championing and co-managing a pilot initiative helping women waste-pickers in India to improve their livelihood prospects by training and working as stationery producers. Marianne was also the executive producer of two videos raising awareness of this cross-sectoral project for the Self-Employed Women's Association (SEWA) of India - and of the imperative to support grassroots entrepreneurs generally.

Marianne served for 8 years as a co-founding director on the board of WEConnect International - the global non-profit driving equal opportunities for women-owned enterprises to compete for supply contracts, thereby stimulating more sustainable business models.  Marianne has also contributed at senior level to international women's economic empowerment initiatives including The World Bank Gender Equality as Smart Economics; Clinton Global Initiative Advancing Women-Owned Businesses in New Markets; La Pietra Coalition A Breakthrough Initiative to Advance Women and The World and the Next Billion: Women and The Economy of the Future.


Marianne departed Accenture at the end of 2016 to develop Blueintogreen Limited, of which she is the majority shareholder. Marianne continues to serve on the leadership team of Economic Blueprint for Women, and current clients include Africa and Middle East focused women's entrepreneurial empowerment NGO Trade + Impact.

A bulk shipping expert with more than 30 years' experience in dry material freight, Michael is currently focused on transportation of biomass, a key renewable energy source.


Michael advises on marine risk management and operations management, as well as offering the following freight and logistics services: voyage and/or time charter calculations; management of offers, negotiation of terms and fixing of full range of vessels, and of dry bulk material freight; market analysis; short and long term contract management; port operations management; advising on and implementation of safety, environmental & sustainability considerations (including knowledge/advocacy around reducing pollution associated with seafreight).


Michael is also a qualified NLP Master Practitioner.
